TERMS OF BUSINESS

Contract
All new cllents are issued with a Contract which includes a confidentiality clause. This must be fully signed and exchanged between the client and Virtualoso before any assignment can begin. Contracts can be cancelled by either Party with 7 days written notice.

Quotations
A written quotation is provided prior to any assignment and work will only commence on written acceptance of that quotation by the client. A 30% deposit may be required for individual fixed-term assignments.

Output
All work is undertaken using standard popular software packages e.g. Microsoft Office. Most output is sent to the client via email unless an alternative method of transmission is agreed between the client and Virtualoso.

Archive
Client files are kept for a period of 12 months by Virtualoso, after which time they will be deleted. Alternatively, files are written to a CD and sent by secure post to the client. This service incurs an additional cost.

Proof-reading
The client is responsible for proof-reading all final copy documentation. Any errors or omissions notified to Virtualoso within 72 hours of receipt will be corrected without charge. Any errors notified after 72 hours will be corrected but time will be charged at the BAND A rate.

Invoicing
All client invoices are fully itemised and are accompanied by a timesheet. Invoices are issued at the end of each month and payment is strictly within 14 days.

RATES

Retainer Packages
The services of Virtualoso are available on a number of “Retainer Packages”. By using this option, you can be assured that Virtualoso will be available to work for you for a minimum number of hours per month. These packages are payable monthly in advance, irrespective of the type of work involved.

10 hours £200.00
20 hours £370.00
30 hours £540.00

By the Hour

There is a minimum commitment to one hour, after which work is charged in 15 minute increments.

Work is charged at the following rates:
BAND A: £18 per hour
BAND B: £22 per hour

Any expenses incurred by Virtualoso for sundry items such as telephone calls, postage, stationery items, travel expenses etc. are charged in addition to the hourly rate.

Any car mileage undertaken in connection with your business is charged at 40p per mile.
